OUR IDENTITY
The Bible Society of Liberia is a non – denominational Christian Organization. It is a member of the World Wide Fellowship of the United Bible Societies (UBS). BSL translates the Holy Scriptures from English into various Liberian Languages which meet the needs of the people.

We envision a society where lives are transformed through the scripture being available to every person in the language he or she can read and understand.

OUR PROGRAMS
Summary of our Translation Program
Bible Society of Liberia translates scriptures into local Liberian languages. Over the years, out of the sixteen major languages of Liberia, BSL has translated the scriptures into these indigenous languages: Bassa, Klao, Kpelle, Kisi Bible along with the Krahn Bandi, Maan, Lorma, Belle, Greebo, and Vai and Gola New scriptures have also been translated into Liberian languages. BSL has completed eleven translations and is currently translating three additional languages: Dan, Maan, and Bandi.
